The Clements Rangers Win their Opener 30-7 Over Sam Rayburn

The Clements Rangers and new Head Coach Bobby Darnell opened their season against Sam Rayburn high school. The Clements Offensive Line, lead by Northwestern commit SR Rashawn Slater, set the tone. The Ranger offense put up 400 yds in total offense & scored 30 points in the 1st half. Two touchdowns from SR RB Robert Dominguez (225+ all purpose yds), SR QB Nick Infante (10-18 132 yds 1 TD, Rush- 2 23 yds..no sacks, and no ints) connected with Senior Wide Receiver Paul Jriej for 1 touchdown through the air and JR Cornerback Jordan Khalil scored on a pick six to end the half. Khalil who is also the kicker connected on a field goal earlier in the half. The Rangers defense held their opponent under 150 yards total offense. This Week the Rangers play on Saturday 6pm at Hall Stadium against Alvin HS.
